Collage of home inspection: plumbing repair, writing notes, a house, and tools. Central text states "The Importance of a Pre-Listing Inspection."

Congratulations! You are preparing to place your home on the market. To ensure a smooth transaction in every aspect, one recommendation would be to have your home pre-inspected by your home inspector of choice. Once you receive the report, you can better understand the issues that may come with your home and how you can better fix these before putting your home on the market.

Most inspection related items will be trivial, but it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Many times, buyers will find something during the inspection that will cause them to pull out of the deal, and this is especially important to prevent if you already have another home in mind or under contract.

With a pre-inspection report, this allows more time for repairs to be completed prior to closing so you aren't scrambling last minute. It also allows time for you to shop contractors and get the best pricing for repairs instead of being in a time constraint.
